This summer Cotton Wood and Bob and myself are the new “organizers” of the Missouri River Bluegrass Festival at the Cross Ranch State Park near Washburn! John and Arlene Andrus ran it for 24 years and have retired so we decided to take a run with it this summer….June 19-20 starting Friday night at 6:30PM. We are so excited to have The Special Consensus coming back to North Dakota and the Wood Picks, Chuck Suchy, The Larsen brothers, the Musick Family and Cotton Wood! The Center Community band/Pfliger Sisters will play on Saturday as well.
Bluegrass is going PINK again on Saturday July 25th at the Cross Ranch State Park with a 5K Fun/Run/Walk on the beautiful trails at 0900am….supper at 5 and concert at 7. Join us to raise awareness/money for the Bismarck Cancer Center Foundation……June 22nd Cotton Wood is in BISMARCK to play from 6-8 at Peace Park…enjoy some brats and cold Laughing Sun beer too….this is FREE…..well maybe not the beer……
There are two workshops on Saturday at the festival from 1-3 with The Special Consensus and The Wood Picks….come learn some bluegrass music with us and enjoy some fun nighttime jamming too……..
